The hand he was holding was quad 8's and when a player named SMITH76's turned four aces, ITALIC was $202,602.98 richer. SMITH received $101,301.48, the other seven players at the table won $2,366.68, and the other 62 players that were playing on bad beat tables were awarded $1,366.68.
As if that was not amazing enough, four hours later on the site, the bad beat was hit again, this time by a person named HOSSDOG556 won, and their share of the jackpot was $51,670.11. This time, 182 players were playing at the bad beat tables, and they split $103,340.21.
The qualifications on UltimateBet for hitting a bad beat jackpot is that the player must hold pocket 8's or better and get beat. The losing hand changes based on each individual sites rules.
