California Poker Players Conference Set For October 20th And 21st
With the expansion of the game of Poker globally, players from all over are trying to get as much of an advantage as possible, and for those looking to get ahead, there is a conference in California that cannot be missed.
Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California is the site for the California Poker Players Conference that is set to take place on October 20th and 21st. Admission to the event will be $180.
"That price might seem steep until one considers the knowledge that can be attained at the conference", stated poker analyst Liam Hansley.
Mike Caro, "The mad genius of poker", will be the main attraction and will be the top speaker at the event. He will be giving advice and strategies as pertaining to the game of poker.
He will not be the only speaker at the conference as professional poker players Barbara Enright, Vince Burgio, Susie Isaacs, Charlie Shoten, Tony Guerrera, and Marsha Waggoner, will also be speaking.
John Pappas, the leader of the Poker Players Alliance, will be speaking about some of the legal issues regarding the game, including a breakdown of the UIGEA as well as other legal issues.
The event is going to be held in the middle of the National Championships of Poker presented by Hollywood Park from October 17th to the 28th.
