Confident Vance Wins $1.2 Million at PokerStars Tourney in Denmark

Tim Vance is just a contractor from Millstadt. He enjoys playing poker, but after his recent trip to Denmark, the game might become more than a hobby for the forty six year old.

Vance took home the top prize of $1.2 million at the Pokerstars.com European Poker Tour Scandinavian Open. The tournament was held at Casino Copenhagen in Denmark.

Vance won his way into the tournament by winning in a frequent players tournament on Pokerstars.com. He now has qualified with the win for the EPT Grand Final which will be held in Monte Carlo in April.

Once Vance reached the final table of the tournament in Denmark, it appeared as though he had already won the tournament. He showed off extreme confidence on his way to the title, "I don't mean to be arrogant but I'm going to play my game and they're done," he said before the final table.

He won the tournament with an Ace high flush. The suit was spades, and Vance knew he was winner after his opponent pushed all in, "It's been nice playing with you sir, I call," he said as he flipped over his flush.

The line had become his signature line as he eliminated players throughout the tournament.
