The World Poker Tour decided a few weeks ago that it would be best for them to relocate away from the Game Show Network and move to Fox Sports Net. High Stakes Poker will not be following behind.

The Game Show Network held on to High Stakes Poker for their upcoming fifth season. The show had been paired with the World Poker Tour, but now will be on its own as the lone poker show on GSN.

The show puts some of the top professionals in the world on display against some of the richest businessmen in the world. They play poker for stakes that for most people is an astronomical amount of money.

The contract between High Stakes Poker and the GSN ended last week. It did not take long, however, for a new contract to be decided upon and a return engagement to take place for HSP.

It has not yet been decided when the show will air. They also have not decided on the location where the show will be taped. Like most of the poker that is on television these days, HSP is taped long before it is aired, but that has not stopped it from having a huge following.

Many people tune in to the show thanks to pots that consistently in six figures. A.J. Benza and Gabe Kaplan are the hosts of the show.
