Macintosh Poker Rooms Big Three Clash
With Mac poker rooms becoming more and more common Mac online poker rooms have turned to other means to gain market share. The big three, Pacific Poker, PokerRoom, and Full Tilt are battling it out in the World Series of Poker race to gain new Mac players.
Pacific Poker was the first to enter the action. The World Series of Poker is expected to draw in many new online poker players. Previous statistics have shown the search terms for poker related key phrases tend to increase well over double during these events. For this reason the "Big Three" in Mac poker rooms are pulling out all techniques to gain Mac players during this period. Pacific Poker was the first to enter the World Series of Poker market for Mac users.
They did so by offering hourly qualifiers in their Java software programs. Pacific Poker has also just added a multi-hand feature allowing Mac users to play as many WSOP qualifier tables as they can at once. Pacific Poker's instant $100 cash bonus is also expected to attract more poker players to their Mac software. They took a slightly different approach by offering more freeroll WSOP tickets to their members. PokerRoom says they have been Mac compatible since 1997 when they were first a play money site.
