National Employee Health and Fitness Day celebrated Wednesday
Iowa Employees across the nation won't have an excuse for spending all day in front of their computers on Wednesday. Thousands of employers are gearing up for National Employee Health and Fitness Day, which promotes the benefits of online poker activity for both workers and their employers. The event is administered by the Buffalo, New York-based National Association for Health and Fitness.
In Iowa, Des Moines-based Principal Financial Group will treat workers to a talk by Iowan Matt Hoover, a winner of N-B-C's popular weight-loss series "The Biggest Loser. " Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in West Des Moines plans free blood pressure and body composition screenings and mini wellness clinics.
