Online Poker Website Sponsors Lennox Lewis at 2006 WSOP
Lennox Lewis, the forwer heavyweight boxing champion who has never lost a boxing match in Las Vegas, is competing in the World Series of Poker 2006.
Lennox Lewis, the former heavyweight boxing champion, are among a record field in the World Series of Poker Texas hold 'em main event at the Rio Casino.
"Bring your own cutman, champ?" The dealer asked Lewis.
"Ain't been cut yet," countered Lewis, who was starting his 3rd hour of his 1st day at the World Series of Poker with most of his $10,000 buy-in still intact.
Lewis is representing the Gibraltar-based online gaming Web site, 888.com. He's never lost in Las Vegas Nevada, in the ring at least.
"He fought 6 world championship fights in Las Vegas and never lost," said Matt Robinson, marketing director of 888.com.
