PokerStars.com Players Won More Than $21M at WSOP This Year
PokerStars.com sent almost 19% of the entire field of players to this years World Series of Poker, combined they brought home more than $21 million dollars in winnings.
More than 1600 players were sent to the tournament that fielded almost 8,000 participants. Three members of the final table were PokerStars players. Doug Kim left the table with $2.3 Million in winnings. Erik Friberg of Sweden left with nearly $2 Million and Dan Nassif left the table with more than $1.5 Million.
Joe Hachem, last year's World Series of Poker winner, is also a PokerStars player. "This has been one of the most spectacular years of my life," said Hachem, "and a phenomenal year for PokerStars as well. The excitement around poker continues to grow stronger and stronger each year, thanks largely to an increasing number of online players who are making this sport so exciting."
