Smokers in Seminole Poker Room get Snuffed Out
Poker players will have to leave their cigarettes in their pockets from now on at the Seminole Casino in Immokalee. Casino officials announced today that smoking will no longer be allowed in the poker room.
Making that area nonsmoking will help remedy the sensitive issue of players smoking at tables where others are bothered by the smoke, they said. "We feel this is the best approach to handle this delicate matter," said Seminole Casino general manager Tony Sanchez in a statement.
"We want to accomodate all of our guests, and I think we've done that with this decision. "Seminole guests who want to light up can still do so in all other areas of the casino, including the outside perimeter of the poker room, officials said.
