Three More Poker Players Win Bracelets at WSOP in Las Vegas

There is alot more that comes with winning one of these bracelets awarded to the winners of the WSOP series, fame and fortune is just a small piece of the pie, but three more winners will find that out soon enough.

Event #24, a $3000 World Championship Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-Split 8 tournament, came to a close and the winner was Eli Elezra, taking home $198,984. Poker pro Scotty Nguyen came close to winning another bracelet, but settled for second, and $110,731.

In the latest No Limit Hold'em tournament to end, event #25, a $2000 buy in, went to Ben Ponzio. He made $599,109 for his efforts. David Hewitt took second and claimed $373,985. Also in this tournament, actress Shannon Elizabeth placed in the money, finishing 150th and making $3828.

The last tournament to end was event #26, a $5000 H.O.R.S.E. tourney. Ralph Schwartz too home the grand prize in this one, $275,683. Billy Gazes finished in second winning $153,408. This tournament saw many more big names place in the money than in some of the other tournaments as Phil Ivey finished fourth, making $65,424. Also placing was Gavin Smith, in 21st, and legend Doyle Brunson, in 22nd, both received $9024.

The final table for event #27 has just begun, and events 28, 29, and 30 have also began.
