Troops To Receive Poker Tables from Tempe Gaming Supply Company
There is not much fun time when American troops are stationed over in Iraq. A Tempe, Arizona businessman is making sure that in the free time they do have, they are equipped to have a good time.
Randy Ying, who owns a gaming supply company in Tempe, Arizona, is donating three custom poker tables to the Marine Corp. All of the tables are hand constructed and are top quality.
"I think it's cool that they risk their lives for us each day. This is just something I can do to make their time a little more enjoyable," said Ying.
The tables not only are of top construction. They also have been personalized by the company. The Marine Corps VMM-162 logo was printed on the surface of the felt. each of the three tables had the image.
"It's just a good way for me to support the troops," said Ying. He is not new to helping out with donations. Helicopter pilots in Odessa, Texas, were the recipients of a poker table recently. They used the table for a fundraiser.
