Venetian Resort Hotel Casino Brings Live Poker Show To Las Vegas

Poker has become one of the most popular sports in the world. Television ratings are through the roof for poker themed shows, and live play is increasing with each new casino that is built around the United States.

The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas is preparing to take advantage of the phenomenon. They have announced that they will be bringing to Vegas the first live, interactive poker themed stage show.

The show will feature some of the top professional poker players in the world. The Venetian is also looking to bring in some top comedians to liven up the show. The show will be aimed at pleasing everyone, not just poker fans.

"The Venetian sets the standard for entertainment in Las Vegas and we are excited to add The Real Deal! to our existing line up of world class shows. When looking for a new concept to add to our entertainment lineup, we searched for an entirely new experience that would promote audience participation while incorporating well known personalities that shine beyond the bright lights of the Strip. We found that in The Real Deal!," said Jason Gastwirth, Vice President of Entertainment for Las Vegas Sands Corp.

Wireless touch screen devices will be available to the audience to encourage their participation in the show. People in the audience will be facing off with some of the top pros in the game, and when they win they will accumulate points. Those points can be used to buy merchandise.

Jennifer Harman, Todd Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen, Eli Elezra, Doyle Brunson, Gavin Smith, Phil Laak, and Antonio Esfandiari are some of the pros that will be participating in the show. The comedians have not yet been announced for the show.
