Bethesda Softworks LLC is showing up at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo with one hit video game on the shelves and three new titles on the way. The Rockville company has spent months preparing to wow vendors and reviewers at the show known as E3, but this year it's going to be harder than ever to get attention. That's because all eyes are on Sony and Nintendo, which promise to deliver clues to the new gaming consoles due out later this year that will set the tone for much of the industry.
Last night, Sony was first out of the gate with an announcement that its new PlayStation 3 will be released in November and will come in two configurations: one with a 20-gigabyte hard drive priced at $499, and a 60-gigabyte version that will cost $599.The company also showed off a new motion-sensitive controller that lets players direct their game character by tilting the controller instead of pushing buttons.
