The World Series of Poker Main Event looked like it would never reach the final table on Wednesday evening. After hours and hours of play, the tournament was moving slowly, that was until the dinner break.

Once the players had dinner, it was like they came back full of risk. Player after player started falling from the fourteen that made it to the dinner break, until finally there were just nine. Those November Nine will now be playing for an over $8 million top prize.

"This was one of the most grueling days leading up to the final table that I have seen," said poker fan Billy Grobin, who lives in Las Vegas and has seen the last seven of these days live, "the action just would not pick up, but once it did, it was amazing to see."

The players had just chosen their seats for the table of ten, which became the most important draw of the tournament. Ivey drew seat four. Darvin Moon, who is the chip leader going into the final table, is in seat one. with Jordan Smith in seat two.

Even though he looked good early, Smith did not have luck on his side. He was eliminated on the bubble and will be left out of the November Nine. He was knocked out by the chip leader. Smith held pocket aces, and raised , but was called by Moon. The flop came 8C-4D-2D. Smith went all in and was called. Moon held pocket eights, and eliminated Smith.
