WSOP Crowns Two More Champions in Events Two and Three
The second and third events at the World Series of Poker have ended and the fourth event is set with it's final table as the series rools on in Las Vegas.
The second event at this years WSOP was the casino employees no limit hold-em. Buy in for the event was $500, and the only stipulation for entry was that you were a casino employee. The winner of the evnt was Frederick Narcisco, he received $104,701 and a coveted bracelet. Charles Fisher finished second,$66,392, Eugene Lang, third, $42,547, Chris Chau fourth, $28,053, and Kevin Kalthoff fifth, $19,637.
Event three was the $1500 no limit hold-em and the winner of that event was Cairan O'Leary. he took home $727,012 for taking first place and also received a bracelet, as all winners at the series do. Paul Evans finished second getting $450,150, Alex Jacob was third, $282,367, Jeffrey Yoak fourth, $184,152, and Craig Crivello fifth, $128,907.
The $1500 pot limit tournament, which is #4 this year, has a familiar name with the chip lead heading into the final table. Professional Gavin Smith has the lead with 480,000 chips. The second place chip count belongs to William Hill with 332,000 chips. The low stack starting the final table has 91,000.
Other events in progress are events 5,6, and 7, with events 8 and 9 to start today.
