WSOP Grows to Standing Room Only Numbers at Local Events
The poker boom continues with no end in sight as people worldwide just can?t seem to get enough. It?s Lake Tahoe?s chance to enjoy the benefits of the seemingly unending explosion in poker popularity, as the World Series of Poker circuit comes to Harvey?s Resort and Casino, resulting in standing-room -only crowds.
The mobs that have shown up to watch the play in the $5,150 buy-in main event have inspired the organizers at Harvey?s to add an eleventh event, a $200 buy-in No-Limit Texas Hold ?Em tournament unaffiliated with the WSOP.
As the WSOP Tour continues to draw great numbers of people, the addition of more side events at future stops can be expected.
