ACC Tournament Betting: Miami, NC State, And Georgia Tech All Win

The Miami Hurricanes started the season looking like they would contend in the ACC for the first time in years. They breezed through their non-conference schedule, only to finish dead last once conference play was complete.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack followed a similar path on their way to an eleventh place finish in the ACC. After Friday's tournament games, however, both teams will be playing in the conference semi-finals.

Miami used a physical presence to upset their second straight ACC team. On Thursday it was Wake Forest, and on Friday the Hurricanes took down Virginia Tech. Those two teams appear headed to the NCAA tournament.

Even with the two wins, the Hurricanes will likely need to win the ACC to make the big dance. Their next opponent is Duke, a team trying to play their way to a number one seed in the NCAA event.

NC State defeated the third place regular season finisher, Florida State late Friday night. The Seminoles loss means that only one of the top six teams in the conference will be playing in the semi-finals.

The second place team, Maryland, lost earlier Friday to Georgia Tech. The yellow Jackets will meet the Wolfpack later Saturday to determine who will play for the conference championship on Sunday.
