Anyone Betting On Big NCAA Upsets Are Disappointed So Far

USA Players Accepted at Rome Casino!

The NCAA Tournament in college basketball is largely applauded by many observers who believe that it is one of the best run athletic events in the country. Sixty four teams have a shot at a title when the tournament begins and the upsets that occur every year keep people coming back for more.

This year, however, there has been a lack of the big upsets with the first round almost complete. There have been no seeds beyond number twelve who won any of their games. That has left many brackets fully intact.

ESPN is running a bracket challenge that will pay anyone $1 million if they fill out a perfect bracket. As of late last night, there were still over 20,000 brackets that had zero losses. That is largely due to the lack of upsets.

The biggest upset to date in this years tournament have come from a number twelve seed, but it was one in which many people had predicted. Western Kentucky defeated fifth seeded Illinois. There was also a number eleven seed in Dayton, who beat six seeded West Virginia.

The majority of the upsets so far have come from the number ten seeds. Maryland and Michigan have both beaten the number seven seeds in their region. Tonight will provide the last opportunity for the major upsets with first round play concluding.
