Auburn And California Trying To Avoid Conference Upsets Tonight

The top twenty five has been somewhat of a revolving door this year so far in college football, and with the conference schedule becoming more prevalent as the year goes by, the threat of an upset looms.

California is now the #2 team in the nation and they have worked hard this season to reach their goal of winning a national championship, but they must avoid the upset bug that has plagued top teams this year, and that means a hungry Oregon State team today.

Oregon State is only 3-3, and 1-2 in conference play, but that does not mean they do not have the capabilities of defeating one of the nations best teams.

Cal has had the potential to be a title team for the past few years, but it has been games such as this one with the Beavers that have held them back.

Over in the SEC a similar situation is occurring in Arkansas. Auburn has started the season slowly, but after upsetting Florida a few weeks back, the Tigers have pulled themselves back into the top twenty five at #22.

They will be facing an Arkansas team that was ranked earlier in the season, but after stumbling a few times, the Razorbacks must pick up the pieces, something that could begin tonight with a win over their rivals at home.

Game time for the California-Oregon Sate game is at 7:07 Eastern time, and the Tigers and Razorbacks begin at 7:45 Eastern.
