BCS College Football Rankings Released, Ohio State Still #1
The BCS rankings have only been out for two weeks, and already they are seeing the same type of juggling that has occurred in all the major polls so far this season.
One team that has avoided all of the upsets is Ohio State, and while they did not dominate Michigan State in their win, they did enough by just winning, and remained #1 for the second week in the BCS standings.
Boston College was the beneficiary of a South Florida loss on Thursday at Rutgers, and now the Eagles are in a position to play for a national championship as they moved up to #2 in the BCS.
LSU had a strong second half comeback in their victory over Auburn, and have fought their way back towards the top, coming in at #3.
Surprisingly, Arizona State jumped all the way to #4 this week, as they are one of the few undefeated teams left in college football.
Oregon, another Pac Ten team, rounds out the top five.
Numbers six through eight are all teams that have overcome early season losses and are climbing week by week. Oklahoma is #6, West Virginia #7, and Virginia Tech #8.
Kansas is another of those undefeated teams, but they are not getting much love from the BCS, as they are currently #9, and South Florida drops all the way down to #10 after being upset.
