BCS College Football Rankings Released, Ohio State Still On Top
The word on the Ohio State Buckeyes was that they back doored themselves into the #1 ranking by not be challenged, but that theory went out the window this week as the Buckeyes went on the road and made a statement against Penn State.
Boston College performed somewhat of a miracle on Thursday night as they rallied with two late fourth quarter touchdowns to save their title hopes, they remained #2 in the BCS after the victory.
LSU has rebounded nicely after being upset a few weeks back by Kentucky and has now climbed back into the national picture at #3 this week.
Arizona State survived one of their first tests of the year against Cal and have risen to #4. Oregon defeated USC on Saturday and is now the #5 team in the country. The Ducks and Sun Devils will meet next weekend in what will be a huge PAC Ten match up.
Oklahoma comes in at #6, and is hanging on to their title hopes and West Virginia, who dismantled Rutgers this past week is the #7 team.
Kansas played sloppy but held on for a win that kept them undefeated, and they are at #8 this week, while Missouri comes in at #9.
Georgia, fresh off their upset of the Gators moved up to #10 in the latest standings and has positioned themselves to make a run at the SEC crown.
