BCS Standings Could Be Shaken Up By Penn State, Ohio State Game

The BCS standings were released for the first time last weekend and the Penn State Nittany Lions received much love from the system. They are currently near the top of the standings, but that could change in a heartbeat tonight.

The Nittany Lions will be facing perhaps their stiffest test when they play a team that has had their number in recent years, the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes have their sights on climbing back into the national title picture.

There will be no better way for Ohio State to show the pollsters what they are made of than by beating one of the top teams in the land. The Nittany Lions have been nearly flawless in their play so far this year, and fans are ready for the big showdown.

"I've been waiting for this for a long time. Usually when we play them (Ohio State) we are the underdog. This time, we're going to get our revenge," said Paul Schafer, a long time Nittany Lion fan.

The game is shaping up to be a defensive battle. While both teams are ranked near the top of the NCAA in defense, however, their offenses are equally as potent. That leads fans wondering who will walk out of the stadium with the victory.
