BCS Standings Released: No Change In Top Eight Teams

The new BCS rankings have been released and thanks to victories by all the top teams, the top eight teams have not changed this week. The Florida Gators are still number one after beating South Carolina on the road Saturday afternoon.

The Gators appear to be headed on a collision course with Alabama in the SEC championship game where both teams may be undefeated. Alabama stayed at number two in the BCS after handily defeating Mississippi State on the road.

Texas remained number three with their stomping of Baylor, but the Longhorns did drop from number two to number three in the AP poll. Texas looks to have the easiest run through the rest of the season, and as long as they stay undefeated, Texas should be playing for a national title in January.

TCU passed their last major test of this season when they throttled Utah Saturday night. TCU now must hope for some help if they want to be the first team from a non-BCS conference to make it to the title game.

Cincinnati also passed their latest test, a match up with West Virginia. The Bearcats still have to face Pittsburgh in what will be a battle for the Big East championship. Here is a list of this week's BCS top twenty-five.
