Best Bets for NFL Draft Day
Empire Sportsbook has around 20 draft props. I don?t have an account there and know little about them, but here?s some opinions using their yes or no props.
Who will be the first defensive player drafted: Mario Williams -$5.00, A.J. Hawk +$3.50 or the field at 200-1.
Take Williams. He could go as high as No. 2 to the New Orleans Saints. He?s considered a sure top-four pick, while the highest Hawk could go to is No. 5 to the Green Bay Packers.
Will there be over or under 8 ? defensive backs picked in the first round?
This is the deepest first-round position. A lot depends at what stage a run on DBs begins. If it occurs in the middle of the first round, the total would go over. You?re better off going over than under because as many as 10 could be selected before the second round.
