In our on going coverage of the BetOnSports.com former CEO David Carruthers court case we are reporting that there is not much to report. Carruthers is the only defendant in the case, who all pleaded not guilty Monday, who is still in custody. Carruthers will remain in custody until his lawyers come up with a new written proposal with conditions of his release.

The Justice Department is seeking the forfeiture of $4.5 billion, cars and computers from the defendants of the Bet on Sports case.

BetOnSports fired Carruthers, who is a citizen of the United Kingdom, last week and the company has agreed to a judge's order to stop accepting U.S. bets. The company has also asked the London Stock Exchange to suspend trading of its shares.

U.S. District Carol Jackson extended a temporary restraining order until Aug. 14 to halt all BetOnSports.com business in the United States. Hanaway said her office was seeking to make that order indefinite.
