Big Twelve Teams Oklahoma Sooners and Kansas Jayhawks Face Big Tests

The Oklahoma Sooners are used to the kind of pressure that presents itself today, win, and continue the road towards a conference and possible national championship.

For the Kansas Jayhawks, this environment is completely new, unless it is the Jayhawks basketball team that is playing the game.

Kansas has never been this excited over their football program, but fans know that if they win today against Iowa State, then beat Missouri and Oklahoma, that they will have a strong possibility of playing in the national title game.

Oklahoma has stumbled once, against an inferior Colorado team, but if they win their remaining games, they too, could find themselves playing for a national title. Today they face Texas Tech in what is never an easy game for the Sooners.

Game time for the Oklahoma, Texas Tech game is 8:00, and the game will be televised on ABC. Kansas, faces Iowa State at 3:30, and that game will be shown on ABC or ESPN 360.
