Chicago Remains Perfect After Seven Games
The Chicago Bears scored early and often on Sunday in route to their 7th consecutive victory to start the season.
The Bears are one of only two teams in the NFL with a perfect record, the Colts are the other team. The victory by the Bears ensures that at least one team will take a perfect record into next week.
Chicago is the highest scoring team in the league and they added to their league high total by putting up 41 points on a San Francisco team that seemed to be out classed right from the beginning.
Next up for the Bears will be the Miami Dolphins, possibly the worst team in the league. The last time a high powered undefeated Bears team played the Dolphins, Miami pulled the upset and ruined the Bears perfect season as it ended up being Chicago's only loss that year.
The Bears have been recieving stellar performances out of their starting quarterback Rex Grossman and on Sunday he continued his MVP caliber season. Grossman, who was injured much of last season, is off to the best start of his career.
Mushin Muhammad had another big game for the Bears racking up over 60 yards receiving with a touchdown.
