CNN Promotes Bodog Along With Paris Hilton Larry King Interview

In a broadcast today on CNN.com, out of Los Angeles, California, a story about Paris Hilton and all of the preparations being made for her arrival to the Larry King Live show tonight, CNN made references to BODOG.com and the fact that there are wagering odds at the site on such things as:

What comments Hilton will make on the show.

Odds at Bodog are that Hilton will talk about finding God in jail (after 23 days) and the mental health issues from which she suffered while incarcerated.

Adding to that, Bodog founder, Calvin Ayre, said taking odds on Hilton "seemed like a natural fit for us. The vast majority of our odds are based on the most common questions being asked by the public."

CNN thus, in effect, has promoted an illegal sports betting site and they disguised it in the form of news. Perhaps it would be better if CNN reported on the fact that Internet gambling laws in the United States are destroying the World Trade Organization.
