College Basketball Brackets Revealed, Office Pool Betting Begins

The NCAA basketball championship brackets were revealed on Sunday afternoon and that means that the betting will soon begin during March Madness. Millions of people in the US will take part in bracket pools in the hopes of proving they have top knowledge of the sport.

The top seed in the tournament goes to Kansas. The Jayhawks have been one of the top teams in college basketball all year, and they showed their dominance by winning one of the best conferences in the country this year, the Big Twelve.

Kentucky has once again climbed to the top of the college basketball world after bringing in new head coach John Calipari before the year began. Calipari brought with him a great recruiting class, and has the Wildcats as a number one seed after winning the SEC conference tournament.

Duke is another team that has regained their spot on top of college basketball. The Blue Devils used a strong three point shooting presence to win the ACC, and they will be a number one seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament as well.

The last number one seed will go to Syracuse, but the Orange will have to travel out West to defend that seeding. By losing to Georgetown in the Big East tournament, Syracuse may have lost an opportunity to play closer to home.

Florida became one of the surprise teams to make the tournament after losing to Florida in the conference quarter-finals. The Bulldogs did not make the NCAA event despite knocking the Gators out of the SEC tourney, and advancing all the way to the conference title game.
