College Basketball Fans Bracing For March Madness Gambling

College Basketball in March has become the second biggest gambling draw to bettors. March Madness has taken on a life of its own and gamblers have quickly adapted to the hype.

The college basketball season is winding down. with just three days left in February, teams are jockeying for position in their conference tournaments, while gamblers try to get a feel for who will go far in the NCAA Tournament.

College football fans for years have been trying to make their sport have the same excitement during bowl season that is experienced during March Madness. A playoff, they claim, will be the saving grace for those who want a real national champion.

One of the reasons college presidents could be so against a playoff format is the gamblers. Gambling on college campuses has grown to an all time high, and with more important games comes more wagering.

For basketball, however, gamblers are stuck between the end of the NFL season and the beginning of baseball. That leaves March Madness as the only show in town, other than the NBA, for bettors.

This year will be no different than in the past, and with tournament brackets available on nearly every online sports website, the gambling will only get bigger. March is just three days away, so its time to save up, before the busy betting month commences.
