College Footbal Betting Odds: Tar Heels And Seminoles Lock Up
There is nowhere to go but up for the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Florida State Seminoles. Two teams that were expected to compete for the ACC title, both have struggled greatly in the first half of the college football season.
The Seminoles season was immediately placed on life support after their opening game home loss to Miami. The Hurricanes used that game to propel them back into the national spotlight while the Seminoles have since collapsed.
The Tar Heels and Seminoles have completely different problems so far this season. Florida State is running up their offensive numbers, but are having a hard time stopping anyone. North Carolina has a strong defense, but is having trouble scoring points.
If either team plans on making a second half push in the weak division in the ACC, it will have to start tonight. North Carolina has the home field advantage and its crowd will be hyped up for their first-ever home game on Thursday night.
Over in the other division of the ACC, there will be some key match ups this weekend. The biggest of those games features a one loss Georgia Tech team against a Virginia team that has yet to lose in conference play. The Yellow Jackets, Hurricanes, and Virginia Tech Hokies are all tied with one conference loss.
