College Football Betting Begins With Alabama And Michigan

In other week one action, Clemson and Auburn, two bitter rivals, will open the season on the same field. The Tigers of Clemson are the betting favorites, with a line of -2.5. It is the second game of the week featuring ACC and SEC teams. On Friday night, Tennessee defeated North Carolina State in a battle of two unranked teams.

Two Sunshine State teams headed in opposite directions kick off their 2012 campaign later today. Florida State is ranked in the top ten in most polls, and will open their season at home as a large four touchdown favorite over Murray State. The Miami Hurricanes travel to face Boston College. The Eagles ended last season by beating the Hurricanes, but Miami is favored on the road in the rematch by 2.5.

The college football season will be in full swing by early afternoon, with dozens of teams starting Saturday. All of the top teams in the polls, including Oklahoma, LSU, and USC will be in action. Former power Florida will open its season at home against Bowling Green.
