College Football Betting: Is Florida State Back?
The Florida State Seminoles and their fans know what it is like to be on top of the college football world. They have not been there in a while, but they know what it is like to be there.
Tonight, the Seminoles will try to show the country that they are back. They are 4-1, and a win tonight would put them back in the national spotlight. They currently are one game behind Wake Forest for the conference lead.
Standing in their way tonight is a team that has had their number over the past several seasons, the North Carolina State Wolfpack. NC State has made a living beating the Seminoles, and they hope that continues tonight.
Before the season the Seminoles put a plan in place that would have their offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher replace legendary coach Bobby Bowden when he steps away. that plan might have to be put on hold if Florida State keeps winning.
There has been talk for several years that both Bowden and Penn State coach Joe Paterno should walk away. many believed that their best coaching days were behind them, and that the college game has passed them by.
Bowden has responded to his critics by starting strong with four wins. All Paterno has done so far this year is not lose a game. He actually has his team, the Nittany Lions, in position to win the national championship.
