College Football Betting Leaning Towards The Texas Longhorns
The Texas Longhorns are in the midst of a stretch that will leave no doubt that they are the best team in the nation if they come out undefeated. They have already beaten Oklahoma and Missouri, and now set their sights on Texas Tech.
The Red Raiders have been known for a long time as a college football team that can put up many points but cannot stop anyone. They have played up to that standard this year, but they have scored with such frequency that no team has been able to keep up.
Tonight, they will be facing a team in Texas that can score with anyone in the country, including Texas Tech. The Longhorns are the number one team in the nation for a reason, and a win tonight would solidify that spot.
Odds makers believe that the game will be close. Texas is favored in the game, but only by 3.5 points. That is a low number considering they are undefeated and up until this point the best team in college football.
The total of the game is one that would normally scare gamblers off. The two teams are expected to put up seventy two points. That is a high number, but not as high as one might expect with these two high powered offenses.
The game will be shown on national television tonight at 8:00 on ABC.
