College Football Betting Odds: LSU Focused On Georgia, Not Florida

The Florida Gators are working towards getting their start quarterback Tim Tebow back in time for their heavily publicized match up with LSU next weekend. The Tigers, however, are focused on this week when they face Georgia.

While the Gators are preparing for what may be their toughest test of the season in prime time against LSU next week, the Tigers have to be wary not to look ahead to that game. Georgia is more than capable of upsetting the Tigers this week.

LSU is once again led by their defense. It is a defense that will have to curtail the Georgia offense if they are going to survive and remain undefeated going into that showdown with the Gators. a slip up this week will put LSU in a must-win situation next week.

The SEC match up between LSU and Georgia is just one of the college football games that feature top twenty teams this week. Oklahoma, which has climbed back into the top ten, will go on the road to face the seventeenth ranked Miami Hurricanes.

The Sooners lost their first game of the season to BYU but have bounced back nicely the past couple of weeks. Miami, on the other hand, won two games to start the season against ranked teams, but suffered a devastating loss to Virginia Tech last week.

The national championship hopes of one of these two teams will die on Saturday night. The team that wins has a favorable schedule and can climb back into the national picture. The team that loses, however, would have two losses and would be playing the rest of the season simply to get to a BCS game.
