College Football Betting Odds: Mountaineers Favored Tonight

The college football gambling season is in full swing and that means Thursday night football. The West Virginia Mountaineers travel to face the Colorado Buffaloes tonight in Boulder.

Mountaineer quarterback Pat White was looking to have himself a Heisman Trophy type season, but after the first two games it does not appear that he is headed down that path. He performed poorly in the teams loss to East Carolina.

Although they have not really clicked so far this year, West Virginia will still bring the potential to put a lot of points on the board. They run a spread offense that can score from anywhere on the field, and the Buffaloes know that.

"He's (White) as fast, if not faster than anybody in our conference. He can throw it and he's definitely a dual-threat guy......You're talking about him being one of the best players in the country," said Colorado head coach, Dan Hawkins.

The betting line for tonight's game suggests that Colorado has some weapons of their own. They are three point underdogs to what is supposed to be one of the best teams in the country.

Expect a lot of points also in the game tonight. The total for the game is 55.5, which means the teams could go up and down the field scoring for a majority of the game.
