College Football Betting Revolves Around Big 10 in Week 4
Last week gamblers around the country focused in on SEC matchups when the top teams in the conference faced each other, this week it's the Big Tens' turn, as the top battles in college football this week come from this conference.
Normal betting lines are again affected by conference matchups and this week it is the big ten who feels the affects.
Michigan is a 13.5 point favorite over Wisconsin. The Badgers have started the season strong due to three weak games, therefore, if this game was not a conference game, the betting line would be 21.
Iowa is a 21 point favorite against maybe the worst team in college football of any big conference teams, Illinois. This game should have a line of at least 28.
The last of these conference altered lines is Ohio State-Penn State. The Buckeyes are favore by 16.5, which seems awfully low for the number one team in the country.
Penn State beat Ohio State last year and apparently that is carrying weight after the Nittany Lions have not looked good in any of their games this season. A normal line for this game would be in the 20's if the rivalry was not involved.
