College Football Betting Season to Kick Off on Thursday
This is the week that
college football gamblers
across the country have been waiting for since Vince Young scampered into the corner of the end zone in the national title game in January.
For Gamblers, Thursday is a chance when they get to put behind them failures of seasons past. It is a new beginning, one in which most sports bettors have been dreaming of all summer. It is the start of the 2006 College Football season.
18 teams are scheduled to open their seasons on Thursday. The games range from big schools playing small schools like Minnesota hosting Kent St. and favored by 17.5, to a big early season conference game between South Carolina and Mississippi St. that has the Gamecocks favored by 6.5.
Other games scheduled for Thursday includeBoston College at Central Michigan, Northwestern at Miami, Ohio, Eastern Michigan at Ball St., Temple at Buffalo, Toledo at Iowa St., Utep at San Diego St., and FIU at Middle Tennessee St..
A full weekend of games continues on Saturday and culminates with a blockbuster battle on Labor Day night with Miami hosting Florida State.
