College Football Betting Tonight Features Clemson And Wake Forest
College football betting moves into the ACC tonight for the feature game of this Thursday night. The Clemson Tigers are taking on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. It is any gamblers guess who will come out on top in this one.
Clemson, as is the case almost every year, was picked by many to be the best team in the ACC this season. True to form, they have taken that prediction and made a mockery of it with their early season play.
Their coach, Tommy Bowden, who has developed a history of beating his father, may soon have to join the elder Bowden on the sidelines in Tallahassee. Tommy's job is no longer as secure as it once was.
Wake Forest is a team that has built themselves up from the depths of extinction. They used to be a cupcake on other teams schedule, but now they are looking to become back to back ACC champions.
The betting line for tonights game shows just how far Wake Forest has come, and how far Clemson has dropped. The Demon Deacons are 1.5 point favorites. Had this game been five years ago, Clemson would have been favored by three touchdowns.
The defenses are expected to show up and play tonight. The total for the game is 42.5, not particularly high for a prime time match up on ESPN.
