College Football Bowl Betting Begins This Week In Washington

The easy part for gamblers is waiting for the national championship game of college football. It will be easy for bettors to have an opinion on the major games. It is the lesser known bowls that will be tough to predict, and they begin this week.

Wake Forest had themselves in line for a birth in the ACC title game early in the year. They fell on hard times as the season rolled on and now will open this year's bowl season with a game against Navy. That game will be one of four that will be played this upcoming Saturday.

In New Mexico, two teams that play out West, Colorado State and Fresno State will face off in the New Mexico bowl. The Demon Deacon game will be the EagleBank bowl.

The other two games played on Saturday will take place in different areas of the United States. In St. Petersburg South Florida will play basically a home game against Memphis in the St. Petersburg bowl.

The Las Vegas bowl will finish off a busy first day of action. BYU who was hoping early this year for a BCS bowl game, will play against the Arizona Wildcats. Gamblers will have problems with most of these games. Many of the teams playing had only one or two television games this year, making it difficult to make an educated bet.
