College Football Bowl Picks: FAU In An Upset Of Western Michigan

The NFL has a full slate of games on Sunday that will determine which teams will go to the playoffs. There are even a few division titles that are going to be decided. That is on Sunday, today is Friday.

That means that the college bowl season takes center stage for the next two days. The bowls resume tonight in Detroit where FAU will face Western Michigan in the Motor City Bowl.

with the current economic problems that the automobile industry are facing, this could be one of the final years of the Motor City Bowl. If that is the case, viewers and bettors alike will be hoping for a good game.

The Owls have taken a step backwards this year after winning their conference and playing in New Orleans last December. They qualified for a bowl game only after a wild win against South Florida rival FIU.

Western Michigan has had themselves a solid season and is favored by a touchdown in this game. They are playing what amounts to a home game in the city of Detroit.

Three games are on tap for Saturday, two of which will involve teams from the state of Florida. Miami and Florida State are trying to work their way back to the college football world and they must beat California and Wisconsin, respectively, to keep on the right track.
