College Football Picks: All Eyes On LSU And Florida In SEC

The LSU Tigers are out to prove something this year. They are the defending National champions yet some people still believe that they back doored their way into that title game against Ohio State. This year, they want to leave no doubt as to who the best team in college football is.

The Florida Gators by most teams standards had a decent season last year. Their quarterback won the Heisman Trophy, and they played in a bowl game, that would be exceptional for most teams. Not for the Gators.

Florida is looking to get back on top of the college football world and if they are going to achieve that goal it will start on Saturday. Yes, they defeated their in-state rivals, the Miami Hurricanes, for the first time in twenty three years, but that is not what drives this group.

Saturday, LSU will face off with Auburn, another team looking to make it all the way back. The Gators will be playing a Tennessee team that does not take kindly to their position in the SEC the past few years.

The winners of these two games will be in position to make a run at the conference title. The losers will go back to the drawing board and hope to receive help to get to that championship game.
