College Football Picks This Weekend: Watch Out Texas

After last weekend, it would be hard to understand why any team would not focus on their upcoming games. USC, Georgia, and Florida all may have lost national championship hopes with upset losses last week.

This week, the Texas Longhorns look to be in the biggest trouble in terms of an upset. They are playing Colorado, a team that one week looks great, then the next looks terrible.

Which Buffalo team shows up to play in Boulder will determine just how much Texas should be worried. The Longhorns have flown below the radar this season, but they cannot afford a loss if they want to play for a title.

The Big Ten also has a big match up coming up this weekend. It is always a rumble when Wisconsin and Ohio State meet. The Buckeyes must win this game to hold on to their slim championship hopes. They have been to two straight championship games, but to get to a third they must run the table and get help.

In a less publicized match up. The Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles are playing in South Florida. It will not be in the Orange Bowl, which is good news for Seminole kickers, but Miami is still favored in the game.

It used to be that the winner of that game set themselves up beautifully for a title run. Now, the winner will just move closer to respectability after both schools have been down for several years.
