College Football Picks: Vanderbilt Dangerous Against Auburn

The Auburn Tigers have put themselves in a position where they cannot afford another loss in the conference. After falling to LSU, the Tigers of Auburn must win the rest of their SEC scheduled games if they want a shot at the conference title.

Vanderbilt is not the team Auburn wants to see on the schedule this week. The Tigers have to travel to play Vanderbilt, and the odds makers have placed Auburn as a four point favorite. This game could be dangerous if Vanderbilt plays up to their capabilities.

In another game from Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes will host the Florida State Seminoles in a Sunshine State battle. This game used to mean national championships and prime time television. Now, the winner gets another week of pushing towards respectability, while the loser loses precious time in that race.

In the Big Twelve, a conference that many believe could end up being the best conference this year, Kansas State is taking on Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are favored by a touchdown, but cannot overlook Kansas State.

In the Big House, Michigan will take on Illinois. This is another of those games where the winner moves closer to the national spotlight and the loser falls further down the depth chart.
