College Football Polls Show No Change in The Top Ten
The college football season has kicked into full swing after week five, and not much has changed in the landscape of polls after all of the top teams in the country won on Saturday.
Ohio State, which is a consensus #1, went on the road for perhaps what will be their toughest road game of the season and easily passed, by drubbing Iowa for a second straight year.
Auburn was put to the test on Thursday by an upstart South Carolina team, but escaped with the win and remained the #2 team in the country.
Southern California also had a difficult time, but prevailed and held on to their #3 ranking.
#4 West Virginia had the week off and still held down the 4 spot.
Perhaps the biggest surprise was #5 Florida, who pulled away from Alabama in the fourth quarter, but did not move up in the polls.
The rest of the top ten also remained the same with Michigan, Texas, Louisville, LSU, and Georgia all keeping their spots 6-10.
The biggest jump in the top 25 came from Georgia Tech, rising from #24 to #18 after upsetting Virginia Tech on the road.
Conversely, Virginia Tech took the biggest fall, dropping ten spots from 11 to 21.
