Ohio State remained the #1 team in the country according to the Associated Press polls released on Sunday. The Buckeyes remained undefeated and appear to be headed for a showdown later in the year with Michigan.
The Wolverines seem to be poised for that showdown after defeating rival Michigan State and claiming the #4 spot in the polls.
The Florida Gators, in the midst of one of the toughest four game stretches in the nation this year, moved all the way up to #2 in the polls after soundly defeating L.S.U. in the swamp on Saturday.

The rest of the top five had U.S.C., which again looked rusty in a win over Washington, at #3. West Virginia was #5 after a workman like performance this weekend.
Texas battled back to the #6 spot after trouncing Oklahoma, Louisville is 7, Tennessee 8, Notre Dame 9, and California #10.
