College Football Wagering Hinging On Mountaineers And Cardinals

The game between the Louisville Cardinals and the West Virginia Mountaineers was one that ESPN was salivating over before the season started, but now the Cardinals have been a huge disappointment, and the game carries less meaning.

Louisville was picked by some to compete for a national championship this season, but that will not be the case as they have played poorly after losing their former head coach Bobby Petrino to the NFL.

West Virginia also was a favorite to get to Miami for the title game, and although they lost early, they still are clinging to hopes they can run the table and have a shot at playing in the national title game.

After the disappointment this season has brought to the Cardinals, nothing would lift their spirits more than ending the Mountaineers chances of playing in the Orange Bowl.

The betting line on the game is West Virginia -16, and the total is 64. The game will be shown live on ESPN.
