Delaware Introduces New Sports Betting Cards
Delaware cannot allow single game sports betting on NFL games thanks to the NFL and other sports leagues. They can, however, get inventive with the betting that they do offer, and that is what they will be doing this weekend.
The Delaware Lottery is introducing new betting cards aimed at enticing more action and at the same time giving gamblers more chances to win. The latest cards involve multi-week betting and a chance at $100,000.
One of the cards being unveiled is the Delaware Favorites card. This card will allow gamblers to pick games over several weeks and connect them in one bet. The games involved will feature the Redskins, Giants, Ravens, and Eagles.
Another card that will begin to be in use next week will be the $100,000 parlay card. This card allows gamblers the opportunity to win $100,000. To win the money, bettors will have to pick fifteen games correctly without a loss. All games picked are against the point spread.
The last of the new cards will be the Monday Night card. This card will allow gamblers to parlay the Monday night football game and games on the following Sunday. All three cards will be available for use by next week.
Already in place at Delaware's three racinos, are Super Teaser and half-point teaser cards. These are not as good odds as a gambler can get at Las Vegas sports books, but it is a starting point for Delaware.
