Detroit Pistons Stay Alive In NBA Playoff Betting

The Detroit Pistons were the second choice to win the Eastern Conference according to the gambling odds. The first three games of their series with Philadelphia were not kind to gamblers.

On Sunday, the Pistons allowed gamblers who bet on them to exhale a bit. They rallied from an early deficit to even their best of seven series at two games apiece.

The 76ers came into the playoffs as one of the long shots according to the odds makers. They were not expected to even compete with the Pistons, much less ever have a lead in the series.

They have played well, however, and have given Detroit a run for their money all the way through. Now, the series returns to Detroit and the Pistons will try and turn their current momentum into a series lead.

The Phoenix Suns avoided being thoroughly embarrassed by San Antonio. They salvage at least one game in the series after winning o0n Sunday. They still have an uphill battle to come back from a 3-1 deficit.

The Dallas Mavericks, who just a year ago were gambling favorites themselves, are trying to pull even with the New Orleans Hornets in their series.
