Dolphins Looking To Turn Things Around With New Coach Cameron
Dan Marino used to run the Dolphins offense and one thing was for sure during that era, Miami would not have trouble scoring points.
Since his retirement though, the Dolphins offense has resembled more of a sputtering tank than a high powered assault weapon.
The defense has been the focal point of the Dolphins for over ten years now, but that has not led to any Super Bowl wins. So in this past off season, Miami hired offensive guru Cam Cameron away from the Chargers, which signals a change of the guard in Dolphin land.
The first thing of importance that Cameron has done is cut quarterback Daunte Culpepper and bring in steady Trent Green from Kansas City to lead his new offense.
Cameron also drafted speedy wide out Ted Ginn Jr. from Ohio State in hopes of putting the fear of the long ball into opposing defenses.
This week Miami and Green travel to face his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night.
The betting line for the game is Chiefs -3.5, and the total is 33. The low total again triggers the idea that the starters will not play long, and the game will be decided by the back ups.
